Dear Ruth
How wonderful to hear from you. We leave on Friday for our six week trek to visit the girls and their families. I anticipate some time to relax with friends also. I believe that relationships is ministry and that ministry is relationships and that neither exists without the other. The excellent book I am currently reading is "In Search of the Christ-Sophia." It is a well researched, but easy to read, book about the how the Christian Church has failed to identify and recognize the feminine Divine. Sophia or Wisodm, if you prefer that term, is throughout the Old and New Testament and most clearly demonstrated in Christ. A good read. I highly recommend it.
Continue to have a wonderful time.
Love, Martha

Hi Ruth, Where are you now? We are planning a trip to Ottawa in August, and on the way back I plan to show my family the house that 'grandpa' built, and where I grew up.

I enjoyed visiting your site again, Ruth. I don't know how you manage to keep up with your busy schedule AND find time to read as well. I hope you're keeping well and that Paul is continuing to feel better as time goes by. Two recent warm, humid days have opened the leaves on the trees, caused the grass to grow along with the flowers -- and the weeds. Take care.

Hi Ruth,

I'm a new author and was very interested to see your story from the Word Alive Spotlight. Unlike most authors, I published without ever having belonged to any writer's group. Thank you for inspiring me just by being a sort of road map. I've been book-touring (book signing/speaking). The speaking part I hadn't expected to be doing, but people want to hear my story. God has been awesome and I don't know where He'll take me in all of this, but I want to do His will.

May the Lord Bless,
Jennies Edwards

Ruth, thank you so much for your advice. I hope to see you when you are in Cambridge.
I thoroughly enjoyed browsing your blog and will attempt to do likewise. I have been hesitant because it is rather foreign territory to me. You'll notice, I have dropped the 'caps'. Although, I am cheering loudly at your wonderful blog.
Thank you for sharing and for your kind advice.
